Aside from the land, the waters of Australia is also teemed with so much animal life. The many river systems that flow in the continent is home to many commercially harvested food fish, like trout, salmon and perch. Larger animals like the alligator also make the rivers their home.

Enjoy Perth Even With A Small Wallet

Aside from Sydney, Perth is another must see city if you are planning of immigration to Australia. And if you are on a tight budget (the pricey food in Sydney will surely take much out of your wallet), the city will be very much to your liking. This is actually the longest trail in the entire world today. It is definitely an ideal challenge for backpackers and there is no need to worry about where to stay along the way. There are several towns and camp sites that you can stop over for the night and replenish your supplies. If you are really bold enough, you can complete the whole course in about six to eight weeks.


If you want something a bit more fast paced, then you can get a ride in Munda Biddi's bike trail. This one is almost the same length as Bibbulmun, but you traverse it with a bike (motorized vehicles are not allowed). The trail will take you through several forests where you can hone your off road skills to your liking. There are also long gentle slopes which you can take on a more leisurely manner.  And as with any long distance trails, you can replenish yourself at several stopovers and enjoy the hospitality of the townsfolk there.


If you are not for a long trip, then you can spend a day at the John Forrest National Park. Here you can organize picnics and have a short hike of your own through the many trails in the park. There are still many outdoor activities that you can do while at the park, such as bird watching and boating. And while at it, you will also be able to get up close with kangaroos in their natural habitat.


Another interesting attraction that you can do while at Perth is to go fishing at Palm Beach in Rockingham. Here you can either cast your line on the shore or join others in fishing trips further down the sea. And that's not all that you can do in this town, as Rockingham boasts of an aquatic adventure you will surely like. Dolphin watching and scuba diving are two of the most common ones you can do here. If you want something more relaxing, you can just lie down and sunbathe at the fine sands of the beach.
